Lookout House in Drums

This is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff is awesome. When we have out of town friends or family visiting, we can always count on the Lookout House impressing them with a fabulous meal. Thank you, thank you. Keep up the Great Work!

My experience last night was phenomenal!! My Filet mignon was delicious and the wait staff were great and attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this establishment.

This restaurant is perfect for quiet dates during the week. It is cozy and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere and good casual-fine dining menu. They have an awesome little fireplace and a pretty bar!

We have visited there twice and had great experiences. The steaks my husband ordered were cooked as expected and delicious. I ordered chicken both times. The first time my order was a little too salty for my taste but the second time ordered something different and it was perfect. I can't say enough about the staff. They are some of the friendliest and accommodating people I have ever met. I would go again.

Excellent service. Allowed us to make substitutions. Elegant. I had the salmon with dill sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly, done but still moist. Will go back again soon.

My wife and I stopped here for the first time.The building is beautiful. The interior is also very nice.We were greeted in a very fast, friendly manner and were quickly seated.Our waiter Johnny as well as other waitresses were very attentive and extremely polite.We both ordered salads, which were excellent. The complimentary bread was excellent as well. I ordered a steak with the onion rings and mixed vegetables. The steak was very good, but very slightly over cooked.My wife ordered the crab saute, which was excellent and she also got the mixed vegetables.When I told the waiter that my steak was slightly over cooked, he couldn't be more appologetic that it wasn't cooked to my liking and offered complimentary dessert. Local restaurant that's been here forever. Always consistantly good. Order anything on the menu, can't miss. Family style vegetables. Great spot!

Just ordered food there, very quick and easy. Delicious food that stayed warm. No amnesties are lost when taking out. Fresh bread, butter, sides and all are included. Delicious food highly recommend.

I haven’t set foot in Pennsylvania for a few years, now. But, the very next time I do, the Lookout House will be the first, and last place I eat at; which means I’ll eat there at least twice! Whoever you are, and whatever you like, they have got something on their menu that will melt your heart.

Excellent food, it was an amazing experience. The staff are friendly and very professional, The prices are reasonable and the view was great. Save room for desert but don't skip the soup.

I would not recommend this place the lookout clams were terrible it tasted like you were eating sawdust I had Seafood fra diavolo 4 shrimp 4 clams 4 scallops and a half of petite Lobster served over linguine the lookout clams we're 995 the entree was 3295 not worth it however the wait staff was terrific

I found this place by accident. Best accident I ever made.. The food and the staff was amazing!

If you get the chance to eat here, do it. The food is always outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere feels like fine dining but still retains the comfortable feel you get when eating at home. We recently held my grandfather's 85th birthday party here. The food was almost as memorable at the occasion. The menu is full of wonderful food, and no matter what you order, it will be fantastic. The drink selection is as diverse as the menu too! 100% recommend.

They did a wonderful job with my son's wedding. It was beautiful and the food was delicious.

The prime rib was magnificent. Staff made us feel at home. Would give them higher than 5 if we could.

My man Johnathan Carter. Never had a server like that before. He was caring, attentive and flat out hilarious. He made my night, actually he made my month with his awesome vibes. I think everyone who is in the area should stop by and grab a meal at the lookout. Great meal and great service.

What an awesome spot! Incredible view over the valley, it felt homey when we came in and it was quiet because it was late afternoon but the couple of other patrons were friendly. The menu was more extensive than I expected, ranging from a $10 chicken breast sandwich (which was fantastic!) to $15-$25 mains that looked really good. We weren't drinking but the wine list looked nice. Our server Johnny was absolutely great - enthusiastic but not hovering, made great suggestions, and friendly without being overly familiar. The decor is great, fairly cozy / simple but still with cloth tablecloths and napkins. There's a bar where you can get food, and a dining room where we sat to see the view of the valley. I will totally be back!

We had the best prime rib that we have had in years. It was expensive but as a special occasion place, we will return.

This restaurant has been our annual family reunion dinner venue for the last 19 years. Im told that my Father-In-Law worked here in the 40's and that the restaurant and bar are much the same as it was then.They serve very good, home style food. The glazed carrots and chicken piccata are my favorites here. Love that classic bar. Please don't ever change it!

I ate the best prime rib I've ever tasted at the Lookout House. $28 for the richest, thickest, most flavorful prime rib ever. It was almost 2 inches thick at one end, and covered the entire dinner plate.

A little bit out of the way, but worth the trip! A nice variety of dishes, from steaks and veal to fish and seafood. All the food was good and well prepared. Waitstaff was great! Our group unintentionally got caught up in conversations until past closing and the waitstaff were pleasant and attentive throughout. They even served my birthday rice pudding with a candle in it!
